Instructor Development Course
Purpose
The IANTD Instructor Development Course is designed to train qualified IANTD Divemasters and Assistant Instructors to teach IANTD recreational diving programs. Note: If presently a Scuba Instructor with another Internationally recognized agency, Instructor crossovers are available. Please contact us for further information.
Prerequisites

Must meet the IANTD General Course Prerequisites

Must be qualified as an IANTD Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or equivalent

Must provide proof of 100 logged dives

Must have assisted in 1 complete Open Water and Advanced Open Water course

Must be current in First Aid, CPR and hold Rescue and Oxygen Provider certifications

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

Be a non-smoker

Duration
The IANTD Instructor Development Course is a 7 day program including the final Instructor Examination. The course can be scheduled in 2 parts if needed to facilitate candidate preparation needs as well as time commitment. Please contact us for scheduling options.
Course Content
The IANTD Instructor Development Course is designed to direct the Instructor candidate in the methods and techniques of teaching recreational diving programs. Confined water and open water skills will be explained and practiced culminating in "Presentation Level" proficiency by the Instructor Candidate.
